Ima Stressed Out asked:
my daughter just got one and I didn’t want to spend a pile of money for songs that she already has on cd
Are you using the correct headphones?

You can rip the cd’s onto your computer and then put them on the mp3 player. No need to download songs she already has.

if she already has songs on cd open windows media player or iTunes then insert cd they will ask you if you want to import tracks(iTunes) or rip songs (windows media player) they should both get song info by themselves for any other songs she wants go to walmart.com and got to walmart music downloads and they are $0.88 per track

Depending on a MP3 she has, you can try Yahooo Music service – for a fixed monthly fee, you can download as much music as you want to yout mp3 device – if your device is compatible with the service. iPods are not.

You could always use Limewire and share the files from your computer and get some from other people for free
